The spiritual meaning of the light in the holy place
The light which the priests used to light in the sanctuary, so that they may be able to fulfill their daily routines in the inner court,
that light came from the olive oil which was pressed from the olives, and brought at the sanctuary (tabernacle) by the hands of the chosen people.
Leviticus 24:2-3 says; “Command the children of Israel that they bring to you pure oil of pressed olives for the light, to make the lamps burn continually.
Outside the veil of the Testimony, in the tabernacle of meeting, Aaron shall be in charge of it from evening until morning before the LORD continually; it shall be a statute forever in your generations.
Matthew 25:1-4 says; the kingdom of God is liken unto the ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bride groom. Now five of them were wise and five were foolish.
Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
Psalm 18:28 says: for you will enlighten my lamp; The Lord my God will enlighten my darkness.
Matthew 5:14-16 says; “You are the light of the world….Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
The spiritual revelation of the tabernacle is a reflection of a human body and the importance of having a spiritual mentor or leadership,
which plays the role of a spiritual covering, where one’s inner spiritual light (soul) is lit, inspired, educated, and brought to life.
