The name Abraham means; the father of many nations, God changed Abram’s name from Abram to Abra-ham.

From the identity of Abram, (in Hebrew the name Abram stands for; great wisdom or a person with great intellect), Abram’s life and spiritual identity and physical state was transformed from Abram to Abraham by God.

Genesis 18:18  says: since Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?

For I have known him, in order that he may command his children and his household after him, that they keep the way of the LORD, to do righteousness and justice, that the LORD may bring to Abraham what He has spoken to him.”

The restoration of God’s faith in the earth:

Galatians 3:6-9 says; just as Abraham “believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.”

God made a covenant with Abraham, in Genesis 15:7-18, and He revealed unto him the 400years and the prophetic insight which will bring God’s prophetic plan for Abraham into a physical reality

Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham.

And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, “In you all the nations shall be blessed.”

So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham.

Through Abraham’s obedience towards God’s will; the faith in God which was lost by the fall or sin of Adam was restored to the entire human race via Abraham’s obedience,

(Abraham decided to obey God’s voice by taking his son Isaac to mount Moriah to sacrifice him to God as it is written in Genesis 22:1-3 and Genesis 22:14-18,

and in return God also gave His only begotten son “Yeshua, Jesus Christ” as a sacrifice for the sins of the nations).

Genesis 22:18 says; In your seed (Abraham) all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.”

Matthew 22:32 says; ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’.

The lineage of Abraham’s seed or descendants:

Abraham begot Isaac, and Isaac begot Jacob, Jacob begot the twelve tribes or the twelve sons of Jacob also called the Jewish nation, and through the twelve tribes or the Jewish nation God gave us the prophets, the twelve Apostles who were discipled under the ministry of Yeshua, Jesus Christ, the bible, (Old testament and the New testament).

From Abraham derives the religion of Judaism, and from Judaism we get the religion of Islam  and Christianity.
