Tattoos and body markings
Leviticus 19:28 says: You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor tattoo any marks on you: I am the LORD.
In the pagan worship Tattoos, body cuttings and marks that were designed on peoples bodies using sharp metals, blades, or wires that have been burnt through fire.
All these different types of signs on people’s bodies were to indicate and display the person’s reverence, honor, respect, submission and covenant relationship that some body had with the small evil god’s that governed one’s life.
During the worship of these small gods when people were at the climax of their spiritual obsession, (the state of being demonically influenced), people used to abuse their bodies through sexual immorality,
some walked and danced on fire, some used to cut their bodies until they begin to bleed, some pierced metals in the different parts of their bodies,
and through these different types of method and behaviors, marks or tattoos were engraved on peoples bodies as a sign of covenant bond and reverence that revealed their honor to these evil spirits.
In the book of 1 King 18:25-28 says: that the false prophets of Baal were worshiping Baal, and during the process of their worship, they also cut themselves, as a custom, with knives and lances, until the blood gushed out on them…
Tattoos were a body markings that enabled the pagan worshipers to be able to have contact with the ancient spirits of their dead relatives, elders that they wanted to communicate to.
These tattoos also symbolized their honor and respect that they were offering unto the customs of their dead forefathers.
But today these same tattoos have become body markings that people use as fashion or style, not knowing that their lives are being connected to these ancient evil or unclean spirits that introduce the culture of body markings into the earth.
