The new age movement
A movement that rejects God’s moral behavior, but it embraces the spiritual experiences of His spiritual power.
The new age movement emerged forth as a distinct lifestyle from the late 1960’s through the early 1970’s.
The new age movement is a movement that is made up of people or believers who believe in spirits,
(I mean many spirits),
a movement that inspire its members to peruse after spiritual experiences
so that they may attain the highest individual human potential
In the new age movement people can go as far attending religious meetings and learning about religious rituals and activities from different religions for the sake of finding out new spiritual methods,
that will enable somebody to be able to reach the highest level of his or her spiritual experience or status.
2 timothy 3:5 says: having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!
The new age members practice witchcraft, magic, divination, palm reading, fortune telling, yoga, use drugs and some attend Christian meetings,
they study cosmology, astrology, nature, and most of their inspiration is drawn from music and the major world religions like:
Buddhism , Chinese folk religion , Christianity , Islam , Hinduism , Judaism ;
The new age followers believe that through the aspect of combining spiritual methods from the different religions and pagan practices,
people will be able to live a life of happiness, creativity and fulfillment.
The only doctrine that is rejected and resisted in the new age movement is the belief that commands man to live according to God’s moral stands or commandments.
Live any way you feel suits your life so that you may achieve the happiness, fulfillment and creativity that your life requires.
This new age young woman is meditating using a method that comes from the practice of communicating with the spirits called yoga.
Today there are a lot of people in Christianity who carry this evil spirit of the new age; they embrace God’s spiritual miracles of healing, prosperity, and deliverance,
but they refuse to obey the spiritual instructions of God’s commandments, these are the same people that say;
we do not need to keep God’s commandments in the old testament, because Jesus died on the cross to do a way with them.
We are in the time of the new age, where people are seeking for spiritual experiences so that they may solve their problems,
but rebelling against spiritual commandments that God uses to structure their moral standards.
