The star that revealed the birth of our savior Jesus Christ was also the same star, that revealed this same baby (Yeshua, Jesus), that was born in Bethlehem, to be the new born king of the Jews.

Matthew 2:2 says: that the wise men from the east (men of intellectual status, star gazers, astrologers, worshipers of the host of heaven as their gods), saw the star, all the way from the east and forsook their idol worship and they came to worship the new born king of the Jews.

Now; my question is , How did they know that the star means that the king of the Jews had been born, and how could they connect this same star to the Jewish nation?

Even way before Jesus was born; the Jewish nation had a star called the Star of David. It is also the same star on the flag of Israel.

This star is made up of six corners and each corner has a meaning and the simple meaning of these six corners on the star means, that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, He is a King that reigns and rules in the whole earth as King David ruled over Israel in Jerusalem.

As David ruled his people with righteousness, justice and holiness, so it is with God. He also rules in all these six corners of the earth.

He is The God that rules the south, the north, the east and the west, and He is the God that rules under the earth and in the heavenliness,

so all together that becomes a star that reveals God’s sovereign authority in all the six corners of the earth.

The wise men (idol worshippers) were admiring and worshipping the stars.

And on that night when the Messiah our Lord Jesus Christ was born, to their surprise they came across this star in the sky.

As they consulted with their wisdom and information of history collection, they found out that the star itself had six corners and another thing that they knew, though they were idol worshippers is that;

The word of God in Genesis 1:14 says; that God put the stars in the sky to be for signs that reveals spiritual seasons and times in which spiritual events takes place.

With out wasting time, these wise men decided to get their means of transport and started heading towards Israel. Why Israel? Because the star was hanging over Israel.

When they reached in Israel, they started to search in all the wrong places, until the scribes (the Rabbis, the priests, the teachers of Moses’ books) in Israel opened up the word for them by revealing the prophetic insight of the scripture, that the baby was to be born in Bethlehem ( Matthew 2:4-5 ).

My prophetic point to this story is this, that now Israel has become the bright morning star of peace, and whosoever loves Israel and seeks for wise counsel of Rabbanic teaching about the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob,

shall also have peace (prosperity, completeness. favour from God) and this person will also escape God’s wrath that is coming upon the children of disobedience
