A Conscious Lifestyle – Continuation
A conscious lifestyle – continuation.
Every human being on earth is at the verge of fighting his greatest battle.
Our greatest battle in life is to be able to conquer our own selfish ego.
The worst enemy of our lives is not on the outside, but on the inside of our own uncultivated or untamed habits.
There is a saying that says; “the worst enemy in life is self”.
I cannot give what I do not have; neither can I demand others to give me what I have never given unto them. (Simply meaning that; you cannot harvest or reap something that you have never planted.)
Peace, love, understanding, harmony, prosperity, joy, unity, working together as a community etc…
these are attributes that we cultivate from in within ourselves, and then we project them on the outside of our character, so that we may be able to influence other people to do the same thing towards us.
But most of us are demanding other people to be in peace with us, to give to us, to understand us, to love us etc…
but yet when we ourselves have never taken time to do anything of that nature towards the human race and the community that we live in.
Ask yourself; when was the last time you were able to do charity (a good deed) for your community, like being part of the community programs that are helping your community to become a better place?
Ask yourself again; when was the last time you were able to do a charitable service with your talents, and in return, you were not concerned about how much money you are going to be paid,
but you were looking at the reward (the change, the positive energies, the love, the peace, the fellowship, the unity) which derives from the act of doing a good deed?
Conscious lifestyle; helps us to conquer the selfish ego or negative energies which are in within our natural attributes, so that we may transform them into the positive energies or characteristics,
which will enable us to be part of the procedure which makes a communities a better place to live in.
