December – The season of darkness vs the glory of lights
During the month of December around the time when the world celebrates Christmas (winter time), the whole entire world enters into a spiritual season that is called Tehom in Hebrew.
The word Tehom means: The belly of the earth, the deep, abyss or the place where darkness dwells,
simply meaning that; the month of December is the season when darkness from the deep of the earth raises from its place,
and begins to fill and influence the inhabitants of the earth with desires of lusting after the works of the carnal flesh.
According to the information that has been recorded down concerning the moral standards of the human race on earth, December has revealed its self to be the same season when;
the most suicide threats, divorce in marriages, hatred among family members, un faithfulness in within marriages, crime in society, rape and sexual immorality, murder, child molesting and the misusing of credit cards (debt covenants) seems to reach the climax and the extreme of its influence during this season.
Isaiah 60:1-2 says; Arise and shine, for the light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold the darkness shall cover the earth, and the deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you.
John 10:22-23 says; And it was at Jerusalem the feast of dedication, and it was winter (being the Jewish feast of lights called Chanukah) Jesus Christ was in the Temple in Solomon’s porch.
Luke 2:29-32 says; Jesus Christ (Yeshua Hamashiach) being …….A light to bring revelation to the gentiles (nations), and the glory of your people Israel ( Israel being the Jewish nation).
In this season (in the month of December in winter) when the world faces its darkest season, the Jews all over the world celebrate the Feast of Lights called (Chanukah), where they light a lamp stand with nine candle lights.
According to the rabbinic teaching, the lighting of the menorah with the nine candle sticks demonstrates; the faith of a believer who believes in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob,
rising above the darkness, and the evil that descends upon the earth during this season in the month of December when the whole world celebrates Christmas.
This is also the same season when the faith of many that claims to follow God is tested, but they that are able to resist these temptations,
and rise above the evil nature that intends to rule the world through darkness in this season, they also become like that nine candle light that fully brings forth all its nine lights, so that it may shine bright during this season of darkness.
