The dividing of the city of Jerusalem, that is supposed to be a token of bringing peace between the Palestinian and the Jewish nation,

is prophesied to be the same sign that the God of Abraham , Isaac and Jacob will use to determine His ultimate judgement of punishment against the nations that are fighting against Israel (the Jewish nation).

As president Bush are trying his level best to encourage the dividing of the city of Jerusalem, giving half of the city to the Palestinians.

This act of dividing the city will bring to pass the prophecy in Zechariah 14:1-2 , where the scripture says that; behold the day of the Lord is coming, and you spoil will be divided in your midst.

For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem; the city shall be taken, the house …and the women ravished.

Half of the city shall go into captivity, but the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

Then the Lord will go forth and fight against those nations, as He fights in the day of battle 

On the 27th of November 2007, almost 50 leaders from 50 different nations gathered to discuss the dividing of the city of Jerusalem.

According to God’s word, three of His laws are being violated by the nations through this act of dividing the city.

The 1st is that the land of Israel is not for sale according to Leviticus 25:23 …

The 2nd law being violated is that the land of Israel including the part where the city Jerusalem is, was given to the descendants of Abraham (the Jewish people) according to Joshua 1:10-15.

The 3rd law being violated is that God said;

whoever curses (treating the children of Israel, the Jewish nation with violence) he himself, God will curse according to Genesis 12:3 …

The God of Abraham, is going to use this opportunity to humble and punish the leaders of the nations, and He will also make them know that; they could be leaders and  presidents over their nations,

but they themselves were also created by God to submit and abide under His law.
