Week 3: Tiferet – Harmony/Beauty/Compassion:
Omer counting day 20.
Bonding – Compassion (the bonding/foundation/connection side of Compassion) Yesod – Tiferet in Hebrew.
Remember that when ever God allows a need to occur between you and the one who has a need, it’s because God wanted to create an atmosphere of giving you an opportunity to relate.
Caring about people’s need and being good to others is an act of compassion, but bonding goes beyond compassion and allows you to relate and connect with the ones that you have compassion to.
Ask yourself:
Does my ability of being compassionate, allow me to discover the hidden strength in people’s lives that I am compassionate to, or is it just a dry act of compassion?
Exercise of the day:
When you are exercising your act of being compassionate, also try to find the spiritual extension of bonding and connecting to the ones that you have compassion to.
