Omer counting day 49
Week 7: Malchut – Majesty/Dignity:
Omer counting day 49.
Majesty – Majesty (the Majesty/Dignity side of Majesty) Malchut – Malchut in Hebrew.
The 49th day is the last day in the omercounting and the spiritual purpose of the omercounting is to connect your seven emotions back to God.
And at the same time as you are extracting them from the wrong relationships, un godly habits, motives, environments and desires that you have related and deposited your emotions into.
Omercounting is a spiritual exercise and preparation that prepares your life for the 50th day called Pentecost or Shavuot in Hebrew, which means feast of weeks, marriage or to become one.
Pentecost, the 50th day, the reason why you counted the omer was that you may get into the day of Pentecost and enter into a marriage covenant with God as in Isaiah 54:5.
Today is the 49th day of the omer, the day before Pentecost. At this point it is good if you can ask God to forgive you in those areas where you have related you emotions and feelings into things, people and relationships that have seduced you, manipulated you and deceived you.
Ask God to spiritually cleanse you and separate you from negative influences that have led you into the path of neglecting God’s spiritual order, will and commandments in your life.
Now you can say this prayer out loud:
Father God, I thank You for bringing me to THIS day of being able to connect and relate all my 7 emotions into the will of Your perfect plan for my life.
I would like to thank You once again for sharing Your intimate relationship with me and for helping me, guiding me, inspiring me and teaching me, so that I may become more like You, and I am looking forward to the 50th day which is tomorrow, the Day of Pentecost.
I say this prayer in the name of You holy Son Yeshua, Jesus Christ, Amen.
Ask yourself:
Examine the sovereignty of your sovereignty.
Does it come from deep- rooted inner confidence in myself?
Or is it just a put-on to mask my insecurities?
Does that cause my sovereignty to be excessive?
Am I aware of my uniqueness as a person? Of my personal contribution?
Exercise of the day:
Take a moment and concentrate on yourself, on your true inner self, not on your performance and how you project to others.
And be at peace with yourself knowing that God created a very special person which is you.
