Pentecost – Blessings or curses
Pentecost – Blessings or curses, What is your choice?
In Hebrew every letter, word, event, or sentence is always attached with a negative and a positive effect to it.
For example God said in Deuteronomy 30:19;
I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live.
When you look back into the past events that have taken place in the bible, you will find out that this season of Pentecost.
The season which falls in the 3rd month on the Hebrew calendar, God’s calendar, this season has always contained two types of effects a touched to it, (the negative effect being the curse, and the positive effect being the blessing).
The negative effect that derives out of the season of Pentecost.
In this same season of Pentecost, which falls in the third month on the Hebrew calendar, God scattered, divided and confused the people during the building of the tower of Babel.
This is the season when many frequencies, many languages, many opinions, many cultures and religions were birthed forth in the midst of building the tower of Babel.
The people who were constructing the tower of Babel desired to build an internet network, (a network of united emotions, ideas, motives and opinions) that was supposed to rebel against God’s will on the earth.
You should remember that by this time the whole world was speaking only one language called Hebrew.
Genesis 11:5-9 says; But the LORD came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built.
And the LORD said, “Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them, Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.
” So the LORD scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they ceased building the city.
Therefore its name is called Babel, because there the LORD confused the language of all the earth; and from there the LORD scattered them abroad over the face of all the earth.
And from that time on onwards, the human race that came from these three sons of Noah (Japheth the white man, Ham the black man and Shem the grandfather of the Jewish nation),
began to speak many different languages, becoming a group of people divided up in many nations.
Each nation inventing or coming up with its own belief system, culture, tradition, kingdom and worship of different gods.
The positive effect that derives out of the season of Pentecost.
But through the lineage of the descendants of Shem, God chose or called out Abraham, so that he may become the man that will inherit the faith of God and preserve the Hebrew language that all the other nations had lost as in Genesis 11:27-32 & Genesis 12:1-3.
