The brazen altar
The brazen altar.
On the brazen Altar which was located in the outer court of the Tabernacle (the outer side part of the Tabernacle),
that was the place where the Children of Israel were Commanded by God through Moses to bring their sacrifices of clean animals as offerings to be sacrificed on the Brazen Altar with four corners.
And each corner on the Brazen Altar was designe with a horn.
Now the question arises; why were the people commanded to give offerings of clean animals?
You see every thing that was sacrificed to God in form of an offering also became the food that the children of Israel and the priest ate during the celebrations of God’s feasts.
The tithes, the animal offerings, the gifts, etc that were given to the temple, also became products that sustained the needs of those who were in need spiritually and physically.
So; if the sacrifice was good enough to be given as an offering to God, then the part of it which was eaten by the people and the priests was also good enough to keep their bodies healthy, strong and holy.
Read the continuation, about the three types of meat offerings that were were given to God…
