The fear of change makes people complain, falsely accuse and bitter
There are four seasons in a year (spring, summer, autumn and winter) and each season contains an influence that makes the people on the earth to act in a certain way.
For example; in summer time; people’s emotions and desires are always open for new ideas and this season also contains an atmosphere of sensual desire.
In the winter season people are more preserved within themselves.
In spring time; people’s emotions are attracted towards the things that will allow them to express their inner most desires, animals begins to search for their mate, and this is also the season for plants and trees blossom.
The spirit of the Lord spoke unto me and said; the season of Omer counting that begins in spring or Passover around (March or April) and finishes on the day of Pentecost (summer season, which falls in June or July),
this is going to be a season of awakening the spiritual ability of the entire human race into the reality of why God created each and every living soul on the earth.
But at the same time this is also going to be the season when a lot of warfare (conflicts in relationships, marriages, families, political problems in governments, violence in different parts of the world) and out breaks of emotional reactions will also increase in people’s lives.
And because of these dramatic changes in the atmosphere, most of the people’s life style will begin to reject and resist change, and this will cause the evil spirit of false accusation, discouragement, depression, hatred, complaint, anger, prejudice and lust, to be able to control and dominate their character.
When the children of Israel came out of Egypt (in Exodus 15:22-26, Exodus 16:2-20 & Exodus 17:1-7) it was also in this same season of Omer counting (the period between Passover which begins in spring, and finishes on Pentecost that falls in the season of summer).
As they were coming out of Egypt a lot of changes were also taking place in their lives, and instead of allowing themselves to adjust to these changes, some of them began to resist and reject these changes by speaking evil, gossiping, and complaining against Moses their teacher.
This made it hard for them to be able to receive or obey the teachings that could help them into the adjustment of their lifestyle, so that they may be able to accommodate these new changes.
The period between Passover (spring) and Pentecost (summer) is going to introduce a lot of changes in people’s lives, climate, governments, nature and the universe will also be affected by this change.
That’s why we count the Omer in this season, so that our emotions and motives may be able to accept and embrace these changes.
Embrace your change as you count the Omer with us this year.
