The Sabbath
Shabbat
By Apostle Ngabo
I have learnt something about life, that though we can make choices for our lives, but still God’s choices for our lives are still the best.
The scripture says in Hebrews 13:8 that Yeshua (Jesus Christ) is the same yesterday, today and forever. The same Yeshua (Jesus) who came to the children of Israel and gave them the Shabbat (7th day) and commanded them to keep it holy, is the same Yeshua (Jesus) that came to us and said in Matthew 5:17 do not think that I came to destroy the law or the prophets. I did not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
Our life on this earth must be revealing a fulfilment of those things that God calls holy. If the Shabbat (7th day) which is a Saturday is holy to God, Exodus 20:8-11, so we ought to conduct it as a holy day to fulfil His words that are written in the Old testament.
The Spirit of the Lord has revealed to us the curse of Adam that came from the garden in Eden where Adam deliberately chose to defile the Sabbath instead of keeping it holy.
The scripture says in Genesis 3:8-9 that Yeshua (Jesus) came to fellowship with Adam in the garden in Eden on the 7th day and Adam decided to hide behind the Christmas trees, oops! Sorry; I meant to say trees in Genesis 3:8.
Light the candles
We always begin the Sabbath by lighting up the two candles, which represent the two significant trees that were in the middle of the garden in Eden, Genesis 2:9, one being the tree of life and one being the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. These are also the two trees that are before the throne of God, also being the two lamp stands, standing before the God of the earth in Revelation 11:4.
The tree of life representing Jesus (Yeshua) and the tree of knowledge of good and evil, representing the tenth (tithe), which is your obedience form yourself into God’s kingdom.
As we light the candles, we are also prophetically proclaiming that, as darkness decends upon the nation that you are in.
The lighting of candles symbolically demonstrates the light in you, overriding that darkness that is descending upon your nation, and also welcoming the light or the life (revelation), that the Lord God deposited in within the seventh day.
Psalm 18:28 says; For you will light up my lamp; the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness.
So every Friday 18 minutes before the sun goes down we light these two candles to prophetically claim the relationship that these two trees had before the fall of Adam.
Have a blessed Sabbath, Shabbat Shalom!!!
Holy Communion
Every 7th day Yeshua (Jesus) met with Adam in the Garden in Eden and they entered into a time of holy communion together Adam brought his tithe which was the fruits that were growing on the tree of knowledge of good and evil and Yeshua (Jesus) known as Melchizedek, king of Salem gave him life which were the fruits growing on the tree of life in the middle of the garden in Eden, read Gen 2:9, Gen 14:18-20 and Hebrews 7:1-10.
On the Sabbath we enter in to a time of communion (connecting intimately) with the Father the Son and the Holy spirit. Blessed be Yeshua, who makes us triumph through His holy commandments.
Have a blessed holy communion with God!
