The the healing of your soul and body.

The word healing means: to restore someone or something back to the original status or purpose of His offspring.

The second month called Iyar on the Hebrew calendar (which falls in the month of April or May) is related to the healing and the restoration of the human soul.

Genesis 1:27 says; God created man in His Image (picture, character, memory, imagination or likeness).

In fact the word sickness is just the opposite of divine health, because sickness causes the body to reject, to resent,

and to be hindered from doing the things that will make some one’s life better.

And at the same time sicknesses also makes people to loose interest in the things that gives them pleasure.

In the beginning (Garden in Eden) when man was still in a good relationship with God, man lived in divine health (having pleasure in doing the things that God loves) until that time when he committed sin (sickness of the soul,) which led to the resentment of God’s will for his life.

The second month called Iyar on the Hebrew (Jewish calendar), is a month of healing and a month of spiritual restoration, where the soul of a man is restored back into the original purpose of God’s will.

And through this spiritual process called omer counting, a human soul begins to reconnect its self to God’s will,

which leads to physical healing (being healed from sickness, diseases and emotional stress) and this also leads to spiritual restoration and revival into one’s life.

Psalm 41:4 says; Lord be merciful to me; Heal my soul, for I have sinned against you.

2 Chronicles 7:14 says; if My people that are called by My Name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
