Tishrei – The 7th month – Simchat Torah
Simchat Torah, the joy of the Torah.
Simchat Torah or the joy of the Torah falls on the 22nd of Tishrei evening when the sun goes down on the 23rd of Tishrei, when the sun goes down.
Right after The feast of Tabernacles which is called Sukkot in Hebrew, we enter in to a season of rejoicing, called Simchat Torah in Hebrew, meaning “the joy of the Torah” or the Joy which derives from the keeping of God commandments.
In simple words; this means that, the thought of knowing that God gave us His holy scriptures and His only begotten Son, Yeshua Hamashiach, Jesus Christ,
so that we may have life, and have it in abundance, that thought makes me wanna jump, dance and rejoice with joy.
Simchat Torah is the time when we take the bible and dance and praise God for His word, His promises and His love towards us. Get your groove on, because it is time to dance for the Lord.
